ARTICLE II.
1. Mission The mission of the Slovak Society of Cosmetology (further SSC), is to associate experts dealing with the problems of cosmetics that is: |

2. Business 2.1 Arrangement of meetings of the members of the SSC in the form of professional sessions, seminars and presentation actions, national and international conferences, exhibitions, excursions and residential courses - aimed to inform about topical scientific-technical and legislative knowledge, supplementary trainings and comparison of experiences in cosmetics, cosmetology and related branches (further branch). 2.2 Organization and support of research and educational activities in the branch. 2.3 Expansion of educational and advertising activities within the branch aimed at the enlightenment of the consuming public. 2.4 Cooperation with state legislative bodies within the branch. 2.5 Coordination of activities and expansion of collaboration with akin organizations in the Slovak Republic and abroad. |
ARTICLE III.
1. Membership 1.1 Regular members Every citizen of the Slovak Republic over 18 can become a regular member of the SSC submitting an application form as well as a foreign citizen over 18 submitting an application form after a confirmation by the Committee of the SSC. Regular members are classified into two categories namely: A Members: professionally qualified members such as graduates in chemistry or other scientific disciplines related to Cosmetic Science or members recognised as Class A members of a Member Society. B Members: science undergraduates and non-scientific members. The qualifications for category A members is follows: professionally qualified members, such as graduates in chemistry, medicine, pharmacy or other scientific disciplines related to Cosmetic Science, holding scientific title Ing., Mgr., MUDr., PhDr., RNDr. and professionals with experience from branch. 1.2 Members of honor Membership of Honor in the SSC can be awarded to a distinguished personality of the Slovak Republic or from abroad on the basis of the proposal of the Committee of the SSC after confirmation by the General Assembly. |

ARTICLE IV.
1. Structure of the bodies of the SSC 1.1 General Assembly is the supreme body of the SSC. The members of the General Assembly are all members of the SSC. The General Assembly approves the statutes and their amendments, appoints and recalls members of the Committee of the SSC and the that of the Revisory Committee, sustains all documents of long-range character. is called together regularly once annually.The election of the members of the Committee of the SSC can be carried out by correspondence election as well. The resolutions of the General Assembly are obligatory for the other bodies of the SSC as well. 1.2 Committee is the directing and executive body of the SSC. It consists of the president, vice-president, secretary, and other elected members. The president of the Committee is elected in secret elections from among the members of the Committee of the SSC elected at the General Assembly or in correspondence elections. Only the elected members of the Committee take part in the secret election of the president. The other officials of the Committee of the SSC are elected subsequently in public election. The recall of the president and the members of the Committee takes place in the same way. The president of the Committee is the president of the SSC, who is responsible for the activities of the SSC and is its statutary representative in entirety to state authorities and physical and legal persons. Based on a verbal mandate the president can in full scale be deputed by the vice-president in this activity. The president is eligible to delegate a part of his competence and activity to other Committee members. The president and vice-president can dispose of the bank account of the SSC in a monetary institution independently. The Committee of the SSC is called together by the president or the vice-president in case of need, but at least 4-times a year. The Committee is capable to adopt a resolution if at least three members are present of that one must be the president or the vice-president. The Committee accepts a resolution based on the acceptance by more than a half of the members present. All Committee members are informed about the meetings of the Committee via Minutes. The members of the Revisory Commission of the SSC having advisory mandate can take part in the meetings of the Commission. 1.3 Revisory Committee having three members is the supervisory body of the SSC. Its task is to supervise the correct managing and handling with the finance of the SSC. 1.4 Professional Sections are the basic interests unit of the SSC. They associate the members with the purpose of the solution of problems within the single professional activity fields of the SSC (ARTICLE II). The professional divisions and their activities are constituted and managed by the Committee of the SSC. They are led by the Warranters of the professional divisions, who are not necessarily Committee members. The Warrants of the professional divisions are appointed and recalled by the Committee of the SSC. |
2. Functinal term of the bodies of the ASSOCIATION 2.1 The term of office is 4 years for the bodies of the SSC. One member of the SSC can be elected for a functiononly two times in sequence. 2.2 An elected official can retire from the function at any time submitting a notice in writing to the Committee of the SSC. 2.3 An official can be removed from the elected function based on a decision of the more than a half of the members of the body which appointed him to the function. |
ARTICLE V.
Rules of Procedure 1. The bodies of the SSC are able to pass a resolution if at least 50 % of the regular members are present. In case no 50 % of the members take place in the General Assembly, the Committee of the SSC determines another date for the General Assembly that is able to pass a resolution by the number of members present. 2. Other members of the SSC can be summoned to take part in the meetings of the single bodies, who have mandate to counsil and guests not having right to vote. |
ARTICLE VI.
Property and Administration 1. The SSC is allowed to get property and administrate it in accordance to the valid regulations for civil SSCs. 2. The administration of the SSC is regulated by the generally valid legislative and approved budget for a period of 1 year. The budget is a subject of approvement by the General Assembly. 3. The Revisory Committee submits a report about the administration together with a reasoning of the expences excessing the proved budget to the General Assembly once a year. 4. Revenues of the SSC
